Brad @ Burning Man

I'll never be rich. I lack the imagination.

Associated Press, "Woman wins $2 million in matchmaker suit," May 31st, 2006:
"Anne Majerik, a 60-year-old social worker from Erie, Pa., claimed in a lawsuit that she paid Beverly Hills matchmaker Orly Hadida $125,000 to be introduced to men who wanted monogamous relationships, earned more than $1 million and had estates of up to $20 million."
How in holy hell do you convince anybody that there are single multi-millionaires in Beverly Hills who are looking for a monogamous relationship with a 60 year old widowed social worker from Erie? Convince them so thoroughly that they voluntarily and confidently cough up a $125k finder's fee? How is this trick done? Because my mind reels at the thought; I literally can't imagine how to even start a sales pitch for something that outrageous.
